Dance performance Lines by the choreographer Andrew Graham - Dream City Festival 2023



Choreographer Andrew Graham invited me to create an open-air theater for the Dream City 23 festival.

His performance « Lines » takes place on the football field in the Hafsia neighborhood of Tunis in September 2023.

I proposed to create seating, including « bleachers » and inclusive seating, using discarded clothing and plastic bottles. This neighborhood is well-known for its second-hand clothing market, attracting people from all over Tunis to shop in its many stalls. How can we present these pieces in a different form? How can we extend and value their life to maximize their durability?

This project involves research into seating scenarios and public space design that brings together circular economy principles, social inclusion, accessibility, design, and urban poetry.
