SCENOGRAPHY, JOLENE MOK
Using materials repurposed from the Misk Art Week construction site and supplemented with simple hardware (threaded rods, bolts, and LED strips),
I recreated the atmosphere of Jolene’s studio from her 3-month residency.
The design highlights her research on polyphenol, organic plant molecules she uses in her experimental montages and photographic creations, while offering visitors a clear and immersive path through her practice.
Residencies like this are an incredible opportunity to meet talented artists like Jolene. I’m proud to have contributed to her work through scenography for this exhibition.
